Mrs. Louisiana

I was so proud to have my favorite men at my crowning ceremony cheering me on.
Something to tell my grandchildren. I can't wait for an exciting year which I hope to share with all of you.

Welcome to Smoothie Factory!

This is where is all began. To become business owners is an adventure we will never forget. First step, gutting everything.
It's starting to take shape...

Something's missing, hmm, what could it be?

Oh yeah, stocked shelves are always a good thing to have.

I had the privaledge of turning on the open sign for the first time. Ready for business...

Our first paying customer. (also our accountant)

Fun things to do in South Louisiana

Triathlons... Always nerve racking no matter what age. Here are the boys with their friend Victoria before the event...
Triathlons are always a family affair and are much more appreciated "after" it's all over.

You can't live in South Louisiana without knowing how to crab. Ryan would very meticulously pull in the line while Logan not so patiently waited to snatch up the crab.

True little fishermen. Look at that line!!!

The only place in South Louisiana where the temperature is below 50 is indoors! (Ryan in red)

Logan getting ready to slide across the ice.

The best part about making a ginger bread house...

...is eating it!!!

School Field Trips

And this is how we impress the girls...

Logan's field trip was taken in New Orleans where we ate lunch on the Mississippi River. Friends forever. (Logan is on the left)

This part of Ryan's field trip was to the Science Museum in Baton Rouge. Our future little x-ray technician.

Ryan's field trip to the National Wildlife Refuge Museum. The kids were able to feed the animals as we traveled around the grounds on tractor trailors.

Fall 2007

Halloween 2007!
No more cute little Itsy Bitsy Spider Costumes, it's
"Mac Daddy" and "The Bad SpiderMan"
for the Bex boys.
After trick-or-treating everyone is wondering why Mom is making us stand still for a photo instead of digging into our candy.

Yes, that is a real snake!
Not sure if that was a trick or a treat.

This was taken right after Nicholls State University beat Texas State 52-28 for their last home game.
All three Bex boys (1st cousin, Trey included) with my "little" nephew who now plays for Nicholls, my alma mater.

Meet Posh (the rabbit), one of Logan's class pets who had to be taken care of over a long weekend.

Meet Croquet (the guinea pig), another class pet who had to be taken care of on a different weekend.

Marcee isn't too sure of this new "addition" to the family.
(Even if it was just for a weekend.)

Soocer Season, the best part about Fall.
Logan (in white) is playing offense for the first time and has scored 12 goals in 10 games! Needless to say he is really enjoying this season.

Ryan (in orange) has become quite a little defensive player!
Nothing gets past him!
